Merry Christmas. iTunes connect holiday shutdown.

Apple is going on holidays and iTunes connect is going quiet until the 29th. This means I won’t be able to obsessively watch my iTunes connect updates.

I could use the quiet. But i’m also going to be working on some existing updates (and new) iphone projects over the week long break.  I have 4 Apps on iTunes now, each with a unique style and gameplay. I will be adding to the quality and quantity of these apps.

These past few days I’ve been taking a different approach to marketing my games. By reaching out directly to people. Specific groups of people. It’s a lot more time consuming and work on my part but this direct approach is the most efficient and effective way to drive awareness and sales of the apps. Plus it gives me the opportunity to express my appreciation of their business. Because anyone who buys one of my Apps is a Rockstar.

The possibilities are endless, Always keep moving forward!

Mad Cats for iPad live in iTunes!

Mad Cats is now available in the App store. Heres the link:

Mad Cats on iTunes

Tired of Angry birds?  Here comes Mad Cats! This is my favourite app yet that I have on iTunes. It was developed through a game engine I created with cocos2d and box2d. Special thanks to designer Mario Lizzaraga Morales for his help in the artwork.

Mad Cats in Review

So the status of Mad Cats changed to “In Review” today, which means I’m one step away from the iPad app being approved and live on iTunes right away. The official app website can be found here.

Always Keep Moving Forward!

Mad Cats!

Well heres what I’ve been up to these past couple weeks:

An iPad specific game called Mad Cats! Its a physics based game, using a physics engine similar to games like Angry birds. Your goal is to hit the enemy target by any means possible!  Use your environment to bounce, or collide and throw obstacles into the enemy cats! Im finalizing some artwork for the game and will get ready to submit it to Apple.

First ad campaign for Pumpkin Crash

Being an independent developer (with a limited budget) also means being your own Marketing Manager and PR representative. I was finally able to get myself away from the technical work for a day to focus on planning and releasing a serious ad campaign for Pumpkin Crash.

I’m very interested to see how these “mobile iOS device” targeting ads will play out over the near future.
